What is your favorite pre-race: Meal? Music? Routine?

Meal: the night before lots of pasta, Valentinos is the best restaurant. Morning of, usually a bagel and a small thing of yogurt with some fresh fruit on the side

Music: that's a tough one, I really like rock and dubstep pre-race, but as for specific songs, bones by young guns was kind of my season "anthem"

Routine: depending on the time of my race, ill usually try to sleep listen to music and just chill for most of the day, as the race draws near, I’ll get my bag ready and begin my warm ups, a light run and some stretching, then it's some strides and get my mind right. I try to be alone mostly during the pre-race. Then at the line I do 3 jumps and I'm good to go. After the race, it's a cool down, big glass of chocolate milk, and then hang out with the rest of the team!
