VERMILLION, S.D. — The Jackrabbits competed at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet hosted by the University of South Dakota Saturday.

Cullen Mack won the weight throw with a distance of 57-9.50, a new personal record. He remains slotted in third in South Dakota State history in this event.

Competing in his first meet as a Jackrabbit, Colton Bender entered his new school's record book by posting the ninth-best weight throw mark at 50-6.75.

Bo Arnold timed in at 7.09 in the 60-meter dash. His time was .01 of a second off his personal record, which is tied for the seventh-best in South Dakota State history.

Zach Koosman picked up his fourth top-five finish of the season in the high jump, placing second with a height of 6-6.75.

The Jackrabbits also competed at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational Friday and Saturday.

Saturday, Joel Reichow shaved more than nine seconds off his season-best time in the 3,000-meter run, clocking in at an even 8:30.00.

The Jackrabbits return to action when they host the SDSU Indoor Invitational at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex Feb. 13-14.
