What To Watch This Weekend

MileSplit will have all of the action from Henderson LIVE on Friday evening. Here are the top five things to keep an eye on. All times listed are Eastern.

Girls 100 hurdles: Chanel Brissett
Brissett kicked off her outdoor season with a bang--she went 13.19 in the 100 hurdles prelims at the Florida Relays. In a loaded year for the girls 100 hurdles--Brissett is #9 all-time but only fourth among active high schoolers behind Tonea Marshall, Mecca McGlaston, and Brandee Johnson--the Cheltenham junior will be looking to move up the all-time list.

Boys 400: Josh McLemore
McLemore is fresh off a 46.9 split in the Philly area Penn Relays 4x4; only the Lyles brothers and Calabar's Christopher Taylor split faster. What can he do in the open? His PR of 48.00 has to be in serious danger.
Watch live: 6:00 PM

Girls 800: Maddie Villalba, Gabrielle Wilkinson
Wilkinson can't run at the PA outdoor state meet, so these matchups with Villalba will have to suffice. Villalba beat Wilkinson for a thrilling state indoor title in 2016; Wilkinson won the indoor state title in 2015 and was most recently third at indoor nationals. A sub-2:05 time could be on tap.
Watch live: 7:20 PM

Boys 3200: Nick Dahl, Dominic Hockenbury, Dalton Hengst
Dahl is the only sub-9:00 athlete in the field, while Hengst was seventh in the mile and Hockenbury third in the 5K at indoor nationals. They'll meet in the middle on Friday night.
Watch live: 8:30 PM

Girls 200: Dasia Pressley, Kouri Peace
Peace swept the Emerging Elite short sprints at indoor nationals, and Pressley is the defending state champ in the 200 (and runner-up in the 100).
