Workout Wednesday: Grinder Mountain Run with US #1 American Fork


MileSplit made the trip to Utah to catch up with US #1 American Fork as they ran "The Grinder".  The Grinder is one of Coach Timo Mostert's favorite workouts. It consists of a grueling 2.3-mile run, climbing 600ft up a mountain.  

The Workout:
-Three mile warm up
-1.3-mile grind
-Rest
-1 mile climb to mountain top
-Cool Down

American Fork has the best one-two-three punch in the country in Casey Clinger (defending NXN Champion)Mckay Johns, & Patrick Parker.  This weekend they will compete at the Nike Cross Nationals in hopes to come out as national champions.
