New Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe Former Stud Runner For Jacksonville Bolles


Andrew McCabe was recently announced as the new acting director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation following the firing of James Comey. 

If history is any indication, McCabe has the 'endurance' for the job.

In 1985, as a high school senior for Jacksonville Bolles, he won the the Class AA cross country meet in Deland, Florida, by running a time of 16:00 flat, per the Orlando Sentinel

McCabe is a graduate of Duke University and obtained a J.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He was in a private law practice for three years before joining the FBI in 1996, per his Bolles biography

During his time with Bolles, McCabe won two individual cross country titles and contributed to three team championships from 1983-85.
