The Rapid City Central Cobbler Cross Country Team will sponsor a Youth Sports Gear Sale on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until noon in the Rapid City Central High School Commons.
Does your child need sports gear? This a one-stop-shop for all your sporting needs. Come early for best selection!
Do you have gently used sports gear to donate? The team is looking for donations of shoes, spikes, cleats, bats, balls, gloves, golf clubs, rackets, helmets, shorts, shirts, singlets, warm-ups, dance clothes, snowboards, skis, sleds, hockey sticks, skates, etc. Donation drop off will be Friday, November 5, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. in the Central High School Commons or by calling 391-4154 (Shelly) or 391-0247 (Amy) for pickup information. Donation drop-off boxes are located at select schools: Corral Drive, Dakota, Rapid Valley, Valley View, and Wilson.
Participation is athletics helps students develop social skills, team work, and increase physical fitness. Participation can be expense – the Youth Sports Gear Sale is designed to make athletics more affordable for young athletes and their families.
Proceeds benefit the Rapid City Central Cross Country Team. Unsold items will be donated to local youth charities.
