- The Augustana men's cross country team is ranked 13th nationally and fourth in the Central Region, while the women's team is 18th nationally and fifth regionally in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association rankings released this week.  Neither Vikings squad made any movement from last week.

Last week, the women finished second and the men finished 11th at the Mount Marty Invitational Yankton, S.D.  The Vikings' Runa Falch won the women's race by 20 seconds.  Paul Yak was the top men's performer as he finished third by trekking the 8K in 25:24.  He was named this week's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Athlete of the Week.

The Vikings are now done with regular season competition and will next run at the NSIC Championships on Nov. 6 in Wayne, Neb.
