FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.
- The Augustana men's cross country team earned a 12th-place finish, while the women were 16th at the Chile Pepper Festival Saturday morning in Fayetteville, Ark.  The meet featured a host of NCAA Division I programs.

Runa Falch recorded the highest individual finish of the day for the Vikings.  She came in 19th after running the 5K course in 17:25.78.

Travis Beniak was the top finisher for the men as he posted a 63rd-place finish after finishing in 31:07.64 on the 10K course.

The remaining men finished as follows:  Matt Braithwaite was 93rd (31:34.46), Daniel Black was 105th (31:46.07), Ryan Evans was 108th (31:48.84), Paul Yak was 148th (32:19.07) and Justin Grassmeyer was 191st (32:49.15).

The women were rounded out by Kristin Brondbo in 36th (17:37.79), Kyle Blakeslee in 70th (18:05.83), Annie Pfeifle in 193rd (19:07.43), Leah Hansen in 202nd (19:12.77), Molly Kokesh in 210th (19:14.87), Kelly Kougl in 225th (19:19.20), Miriam Hovda in 247th (19:28.21) Kelsey Junget in 296th (20:07.24) and #Laura Johnson in 326th (20:07.24).

The Vikings return to action next Saturday at the Mount Marty Invitational.
