REGIONAL RANKINGS
NEW ORLEANS - The Augustana men's cross country team jumped two spots and is ranked 11th nationally, while the women climbed eight spots and are ranked 10th in the country in the latest polls released this week by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association. Regionally, the men stayed at No. 4, and the women moved up to No. 3.
The Vikings had a stellar performance last weekend at the NSIC Championship in Wayne, Neb. Both the men's and women's squads took the team titles.
Tom Karbo won the men's race, and
Runa Falch was crowned the women's champion. The Vikings also had 11 individuals earn All-NSIC honors.
Tracy Hellman was also named the men's NSIC Coach of the Year, marking the third time he has earned the honor.
Augustana returns to action on Nov. 20 at the NCAA Regional in Wayne, Neb.
