Coyotes ready for Summit League Championship Feb 26, 2015

VERMILLION, S.D.--The name of the conference and the teams competing have changed over the years, but as the Summit League Track and Field Championships approach this weekend in Fargo, N.D., it will once again be the Coyotes and the Bison fighting for the top podium spot. South Dakota's men enter the weekend as the two-time reigning Summit League Champions while the North Dakota State women have won seven straight. The North Dakota State men and the South Dakota women were each runner-ups at the meet a year ago. (via www.goyotes.com)

USF: Men's DMR posts NCAA top ten time on final weekeend Feb 22, 2015

VERMILLION, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls Track and Field saw a pair of records fall at the USD Twilight Open as the top 25-ranked men's and women's squads closed out the regular season on Friday afternoon. Seniors Katlyn Sawtelle and Jordon Bents both etched their names in the USF record books and look to be major factors in the postseason success for USF. In Colorado, the men's distance medley relay squad clocked a top ten time in Division II, all but ensuring of a return trip to the NCAA Championships. (via USFCougars.com)

Big throws at USD Twilight Feb 22, 2015

VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota senior Cody Snyder threw a new personal best of 61 feet, 2 ΒΌ inches in the men's shot put as the Coyotes hosted the USD Twilight Meet in the DakotaDome on Friday. South Dakota won a total of 13 events in the meet. (via www.goyotes.com)
