Chamberlain's Hudson Priebe headed to Drake
By Rich Winter
I'm sure the rest of the Class A field is glad to see the end of Chamberlain standout, Hudson Priebe's athletic career.
Priebe scored all 32 points for the Chamberlin track team, winning the 110 hurdles (14.8), 300 hurdles (39.04). For good measure, Priebe finished third in the long jump (21'3.5") and took third place in the 200 meters (22.95).
That 200 meter final came just after the 300 hurdles final so ya know this Cub has some wheels.
Although he didn't run the 400 at the state meet, Priebe had the fastest time in the Class A ranks, 49.4
The Priebe's have enjoyed a lot of success coming out of Chamberlain.
Older brother, Traxton Priebe, is on the South Dakota state track team.
If you thought you were done with the Priebe's at Chamberlain, think again...sources tell me we have quite a few yet to go through high school.
Congratulations Hudson Prieb, and Drake, take care of our South Dakota boy, you're getting a heck of an athlete.
