On a rain-delayed, wet track, some of South Dakota's best distance runners had personal best marks.
To start the night, Ned Sudbeck (Lincoln) set a personal best in the 800 Meters by clocking a 1:54.86, the 2nd best mark in South Dakota this season.
Connor Haaland (Stevens) was next on the track, running a 4:20.97 in Heat #1 of the 1600 Meters which is the third best mark in South Dakota this season.
Jacob Simmons (Sturgis) followed with a runner-up finish in the 1600 Meters, running 4:12.81, which is #8 All-Time in South Dakota, just behind greats Eric Grumstrup (Stevens) and Tony Smoragiewicz (Central).
