On Friday, January 4 at the CNU's High School Showcase Western Branch's Shadajah Ballard ran the US No. 1 time in the 55mH running 7.81. Her sister Na'Taja Ballard, who is only a sophomore, placed second just behind her sister running 8.06 for a new US No. 10 mark and the top time in the sophomore class.
