Great facility and great hosts at the Black Hills State High School Invitational on Tuesday evening in Spearfish. 

For many athletes, this was the first track and field action of the season, and of course, a nice break from the elements in the cool confines of the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish. 

ASHLEY THOMPSON (R.C. Stevens) produced a MileSplit National Elite effort in the Triple Jump with a 36'6" jump to win the event by over five feet.
