What kind of shape are you in heading into this cross country season?
Highlight
This year has been a slow start for me. I was not in as good of shape as I have been in the past. I am improving now, but my times are still a little slower then last year. I hope to be beating these times by the end of the season.
How did your track season go last spring? What were your best times, places or races?
Highlight
My track season last year was pretty good. I improved my times from 9th grade, but I didn't place as high at State. At the end of the season I was running my best times, but I don't feel that I have quite peeked. My best time in the 3200: 11:45 8th at State. My best time in the 1600m run is 5:29 12th at State.
What are your goals for this season on an individual level?

My goals this year as an individual are to beat my times from last year and place top 5 at State.
What did your summer training look like?

In the summer I do not do distance training. I am on an AAU basketball team which keeps me pretty busy and in decent shape. I also go to an acceleration program The Athletic Edge in Watertown that focuses on increasing my quickness, strength and vertical.

Meal-plain noodles Music- I do not listen to music while running Routine- walk and jog part of the course then warm up
