State Cross Country Meet in Rapid City at the end of October.&nbsp;</p>

What kind of shape are you in heading into this cross country season?

I am in pretty good shape, running all summer and doing some workouts put me on track for this cross country season.

How did your track season go last spring? What were your best times, places or races?

It went fairly well. I ran a 2:03 800m sprint; that was my best time. My best race was at the conference meet where I ran the last leg in the medley and won by passing two teams in the last 100m.

What are your goals for this season on an individual level?

To improve my times, keep striving at my own personal goals, and let the work I put in show in the races.

What did your summer training look like?

6 days a week we ran. 3 days a week (Monday,Wednesday, Friday) were workouts or "hard days". 2 days were easy days (Tuesday, Thursday) and 1 day was a long run (Saturday)

What are your favorite workouts?

Thousands workout

What is your favorite pre-race: Meal? Music? Routine?

Eat a light meal with some type of pasta. I don't listen to music I just zone out and think about the upcoming race.

Favorite music, bands?

I am fine with any type of music besides heavy metal and rock

Favorite subject in school?

Math

Hobbies?

Disc golfing, ultimate frisbee, hanging out with friends, fishing, swimming, biking , and last but not least running

How did your track season go last spring? What were your best times, places or races?

I thought my track season went pretty good last year. I wish it had gone a bit better at my state meet placing me 11th on the 2 mile with a time of 9:52.53 and 19th on the 1 mile with a time of 4:39.58

What are your goals for this season on an individual level?

My goal this season on my individual level is to place in the top 5 at the state meet if my training goes well

Who do you see as the top individuals in the state (and class, AA, A or B)?

Tempo runs, 1000 meter repeats

What is your favorite pre-race: Meal? Music? Routine?

Meal: Pizza Hut- Creamy Alfredo Chicken
